Derrick is our Star Studio graphic and web Designer. He designs all of the creative work such as flyers, posters and website for the St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses. Outside his job, he loves creating and illustrating pixel art, collecting and playing retro video games such as Sonic the Hedgehog, traveling, watching professional wrestling and going on hikes during the spring
and summer time.
Scott is our videographer. He works with the team to create new video content for our channel and helps run tech for shows! When Scott isn’t at the studio, he enjoys being outside, playing Pickleball with Mr. Wizard, playing frisbee with his dog Molly. Or spending the day at the park with his wife Kendra, three kids Samuel, Hannah and Jane.
Eriq has been an actor, writer, teacher, improvisor, and theater maker in the Twin Cities for nearly 20 years. Past theater experience includes Hey City Theater, Interact Center, Theatre Latte Da, Brave New Workshop, The Guthrie, Actor’s Theatre of MN, The Redundancy Department, and many others. In his spare time he enjoys watching sports, cooking, and spending time with his daughter, Delilah.
Sarah Agnew is a producer at Star Studio where she helps run live shows as well as coming up with ideas for new programming. She went to clown school in Switzerland and is passionate about the game of ping-pong. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband, two sons, an albino newt, two fish, two snails, and her dog, Polly.
Seth (aka Mr. Wizard) is one of the tech guys. When he’s not in the control booth, he shoots and edits the videos you see on channel 13, as well as videos for staff at Children’s. Outside his job, he enjoys spending time with his two boys and playing guitar.
Taylor (otherwise known as T.Mills) is our full time producer. She helps with live shows, pre-recorded segments, and all the other fun things a producer gets to do. She graduated from the University of Winnipeg (graduation photo above), loves animals, including her late pug Frank (on the left), and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Joseph La Mere is the Broadcast Engineer for Star Studio. He manages and maintains the broadcasting equipment to ensure Star Studio stays on the air.
Outside his job, he works at Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church and enjoys tinkering with various tech projects.
